I have begun working on my 2nd assignment and have chosen to follow on with an alternate conception which came to light during the teaching of my lesson plan for assignmet 1.
We were investigating dissolving fruit tingles in different liquids. The students believed that when something dissolves it dissapears into the liquid and is no longer there. I want to further investegate this by dissolving salt into water and then creating salt sculpures with the slt crystals as they reform. I have created a concept map of my understanding of the concept of dissolving salt into water and have attached it for peer feedback. I will also display it in the wiki space.
Any feedback would be greatfully accepted at this point, I'm not sure if I'm going off in the wrong direction. Cheers Therese
